About the Company:
The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization dedicated to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low- and middle-income countries. Founded in 2002 during the HIV/AIDS epidemic, CHAI initially focused on improving access to life-saving medicines by reducing drug costs in high-burden countries. Over the past two decades, the Clinton Health Access Initiative has expanded its scope to include infectious diseases such as COVID-19, malaria, tuberculosis, and hepatitis, as well as non-communicable diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and hypertension.
Qualifications:

Project Overview:
India continues to face challenges in improving maternal and newborn health outcomes, particularly in high-burden states like Madhya Pradesh. Key drivers include anemia in pregnancy, preeclampsia, diabetes, inadequate antenatal care, and limited access to quality reproductive health services. Through its long-standing partnership with the Government of Madhya Pradesh, WJCF has supported multiple public health initiatives, including SRMNH programs, digital health initiatives, immunization, tuberculosis control, and strategies to reduce maternal mortality.
Public Health Job Description:
The Program Officer will play a pivotal role in implementing SRMNH interventions across Madhya Pradesh. This public health job involves close coordination with government counterparts, health facilities, and community stakeholders to reduce maternal mortality and improve reproductive, maternal, and newborn health outcomes.
Public Health Job – Key Responsibilities:
- Support planning, execution, and monitoring of SRMNH interventions across districts
- Implement maternal health initiatives targeting anemia, preeclampsia, and diabetes
- Coordinate with district and block officials for family planning and antenatal services
- Support training of ASHAs, ANMs, Medical Officers, and facility staff
- Monitor field activities and conduct supportive supervision visits
- Assist in documentation, reporting, and data analysis
