Manipal Careers: Qualifications

  • Essential: M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology, Biochemistry, or MLT with adequate theoretical knowledge.

  • Desirable: Hands-on experience in flow cytometry, a strong academic record, and research experience in infectious diseases or related areas.

About the Role

The selected candidate will assist the principal investigator in handling lab work, processing clinical samples, conducting experiments per protocol, data collection, and patient follow-ups. The role also includes performing statistical analysis and additional tasks assigned by the PI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory experiments and clinical sample processing.
  • Collect and maintain research data.
  • Conduct patient follow-ups and clinical assessments.
  • Assist in statistical analysis and interpretation of results.
  • Prepare reports and support project documentation.
  • Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the principal investigator.
