Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health or science-related discipline
- 1–2 years of relevant clinical or professional experience
- Experience with MS Office tools and iOS applications
- Prior experience in patient interaction and informed consent
- Strong understanding of clinical research principles
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP, Tri-Council Policy, FDA CFR, and Health Canada guidelines
- Experience with statistical and data management software
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Job Description:
This research analyst job is a temporary full-time, non-union position within the Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation Program at UHN. The role supports the Signals for Cardiac and Pulmonary Evaluation (SCAPE) study, which focuses on wearable and digital health technologies. This position is well-suited for candidates actively seeking clinical research jobs in hospital and academic research environments across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen, enroll, and follow up with study participants through informed consent processes
- Obtain medical history and coordinate appointments according to study protocols
- Perform and coordinate data entry and database maintenance
- Assist with REB submissions, amendments, and regulatory documentation
- Report recruitment progress and study updates to sponsors
- Participate in recruitment initiatives and stakeholder reporting
- Support SOP development and research processes
- Perform statistical analyses and generate study reports
- Support audits, monitoring visits, and regulatory inspections
