About the Research Consortium

AARC (APASL ACLF Research Consortium) is a project funded by the Asia Pacific Association for Study of Liver (APASL) to generate data across Asia Pacific in the field of liver failure and ACLF. AARC is the largest multicentre research project and one of the most successful patient database and registry initiatives for ACLF patients, offering reputed AARC jobs in medical research.

Job Description

Applications are invited for a contractual medicine job under the Project AARC (APASL ACLF Research Consortium). Qualifications

Essential Qualification and Experience

  • BDS – Bachelor of Dental Surgery with 4 (four) years post qualification experience in the field of Research or Data handling or Manuscript writing, suitable for candidates seeking a dental job. OR
  • MBBS – Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery / MDS – Master of Dental Surgery / MPH – Master of Public Health with 2 (two) years post qualification experience in the field of Research or Data handling or Manuscript writing, applicable for medicine job aspirants.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Prior experience and familiarity with issues related to liver disease or interaction with liver care centers.
  • Prior experience in implementing health projects and/or engaging multiple stakeholders and partners, including international agencies.
  • Knowledge of SPSS software / large excel data handling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical updation on hepatology classes as part of the medicine job role.
  • Patient data collection in prescribed proforma and follow up in OPD and IPD.
  • Uploading the data into online web based registry.
  • Maintain and update project documents, website and other details including the liasoning and collaboration under AARC jobs.
  • To conduct and coordinate the meeting and conferences as desired from time to time.
  • To visit the collaborating centers for smooth functioning of the project.
  • Data compiling and analysis for research-focused medicine job requirements.
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by PI.
