Job Description:
The selected candidates will serve as Consultant (On Adhoc Basis) in their respective departments at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Sangrur. The tenure is one year from the date of appointment or till the finalization of the permanent post (whichever is earlier). Candidates appointed may be rotated to other TMC units based on institutional requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Consultant (On Adhoc Basis) – Medical Oncology
- Qualification: D.M / D.N.B. (Medical Oncology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the National Medical Commission.
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years
2. Consultant (On Adhoc Basis) – Pathology
- Qualification: DM (Oncopathology) OR DM (Haematopathology) OR M.D. / D.N.B. (Pathology) or equivalent postgraduate degree in Pathology recognized by the National Medical Commission.
- Experience: Minimum 03-year post M.D. / D.N.B. experience in Pathology in a Teaching Hospital.
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized oncology or pathology services.
- Diagnose and manage cancer patients as per departmental protocols.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Contribute to academic and teaching activities in the hospital.
- Maintain medical documentation and compliance as per institutional standards.
