Job Description
Responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between reading physicians, editors/transcriptionists, quality analysts, and approving physicians to support timely, accurate, and high-quality report delivery. This doctor job plays a critical role in monitoring workflow, managing turnaround times (TAT), facilitating communication, and ensuring smooth shift transitions. Qualifications
- MBBS, BDS
- Preferred Candidates: M.B.B.S from any country
- 1–3 years of experience in healthcare operations, radiology coordination, teleradiology, or medical transcription support.
- Prior exposure to TAT-driven, 24×7 healthcare environments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between reading physicians, editors/transcriptionists, Quality Analysts (QAs), and approving physicians to ensure efficient and high-quality reporting.
- Monitor incoming case volumes, ensure studies are appropriately prefetched, and prioritized.
- Track case progress and Turnaround Time (TAT) performance and proactively coordinate with relevant stakeholders to prevent delays.
- Ensure STAT, urgent, and priority cases meet defined TAT benchmarks.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and escalate concerns as needed.
Communication & Documentation
- Communicate critical findings immediately to the appropriate facility or department in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all critical communications.
- Respond promptly to facility calls and inquiries, addendum requests, quality concerns, and priority study requests.
- Share relevant feedback with internal teams to support quality and TAT improvement.
- Escalate unresolved or recurring issues to the Lead Coordinator / VP Operations.
- Facilitate clear and professional communication across all teams.
Shift Handover
- Ensure smooth and comprehensive shift transitions (log-in/log-out).
- Ensure complete and structured handover during shift changes, covering ongoing tasks, pending cases, critical studies, and open issues.
- Maintain accurate handover notes/logs for continuity of operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong coordination and multitasking abilities.
