Job Description:

This gastroenterology job is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Consultant in Gastroenterology, based in New Delhi. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and digestive disorders.

The Associate Consultant will collaborate with the Unit HOD to ensure high-quality and evidence-based care. The role also includes performing endoscopic procedures and participating in multidisciplinary case discussions. In addition, the doctor will maintain accurate patient records and contribute to clinical research initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant medical qualifications such as MD/DNB in Internal Medicine with specialization in Gastroenterology (DM/DNB Gastroenterology)
  • In-depth knowledge of Gastroenterology, including diagnosis and treatment of digestive and liver disorders
  • Proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures, such as upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for clinical decision-making
  • Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with advancements in Gastroenterology
  • Experience in a tertiary care hospital or similar healthcare setting is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and digestive disorders
