Job Description
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal an Institute of National Importance (INI) invites online applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Senior Residents (Non-Academic). The aspiring candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their application through ON-LINE mode only. The online registration of application is made available on AIIMS, Bhopal official website.
However, once the interview schedule for the departments is floated on the institute website, other candidates who have failed to fill the application till the 26.03.2026 but still willing to appear for the interview in scheduled departments can directly report on the interview day with all requisite certificates related to their eligibility and qualifications, along with the duly filled applications form, which will be made available in off-line mode in the office of Registrar. Qualifications
- A Postgraduate Medical Degree viz. MD/MS/DNB in respective disciplines recognized by NMC/Institute of National Importance
- Valid Registration with NMC/State Medical Council
- Eligibility of the candidate shall be considered as on the date of Interview
- Only those candidates, who have been declared passed in their qualifying degree exam on or before the date of Interview
- The tenure of qualifying degree should be completed on or before the date of Interview
Special Departments Eligibility:
- Trauma & Emergency Medicine: MD/MS/DNB in Medicine/Emergency Medicine /Surgery /Orthopaedics /Paediatrics /Anesthesiology
- Endocrinology & Metabolism: MD/DNB in Medicine/Paediatrics or DM/DNB Endocrinology
- Medical Oncology/Haematology: MD/DNB in Medicine /Paediatrics /Radiotherapy /Pathology or DM/DNB Medical Oncology/Hematology
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services as per assigned department
- Participate in patient care, diagnosis, and treatment
- Assist in emergency and trauma care where applicable
- Work in shifts and support hospital operations
- Follow institutional protocols and maintain discipline
Tenure
- Initially for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years
- Maximum duration cannot exceed 3 years under any circumstances
- Some posts may be for 6 months extendable by another 6 months
