Job Details:

  • Designation: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
  • Department: Medical Services
  • Qualification: MBBS
  • Experience: 0–7 years (1–6 years preferred)

  • Location: Rajouri Garden, New Delhi
  • Reporting To: Branch Manager / Medical Director / AMS
  • Duty Hours: As per scheduled requirements
  • Dress Code: Specified dress code with ID card

Key Responsibilities:

Morning Duty:

  • Take over from night residents and review patient conditions
  • Handle acute events, new admissions, and patient workups
  • Prepare patients and files for surgery
  • Take patient history, perform examination, and coordinate investigations
  • Inform consultants about abnormal reports
  • Send files to the Operation Theatre and receive post-operative patients
  • Prepare discharge summaries
  • Conduct rounds with consultants and nurses
  • Handle emergencies if EMO is unavailable
  • Handover to evening RMO

Evening Duty:

  • Take over from morning RMO regarding admissions and surgeries
  • Visit new and post-operative patients
  • Conduct evening rounds with consultants
  • Complete pending documentation
  • Manage emergencies
  • Handover to the night RMO

Night Duty:

  • Take over from the evening RMO and review all patients
  • Manage emergencies and pre-planned discharges
  • Inform consultants about patient conditions
  • Maintain night reports in case files
  • Handle new admissions and coordinate with consultants
  • Update case files and handover to the morning RMO

General Responsibilities:

    • Prioritize emergency cases and coordinate with departments
    • Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information
    • Participate in quality assurance and NABH training
    • Follow duty roster strictly and seek prior permission for leave
    • Participate in continuous quality improvement
    • Perform additional duties as required

Educational Requirements for this Job:

MBBS from a recognized institution
