Job Description:
The Consultant Gastroenterologist will be responsible for diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders. This includes performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy. The role also involves managing outpatient, inpatient, and emergency GI cases, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care, and participating in academic discussions and case presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
- Assist and develop exposure in advanced procedures like ERCP/EUS (if applicable)
- Manage OPD, IPD, and emergency GI cases
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Participate in academic discussions, CMEs, and case presentations
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Eligibility Criteria for this Gastroenterologist job:
- DM / DrNB Gastroenterology from a recognised institute
- 0–2 years of post DM/DrNB experience
