Purpose of the Job:
The primary objective of this role is to actively contribute to the organization by ensuring the scientific, technical, and ethical soundness of all policies and endeavors. The corporate medical advisor will support the division medically across all portfolio-related activities and provide high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description:
The Corporate Medical Advisor Job involves supporting the development and promotion of the allocated portfolio under the supervision of the line manager or mentor. This includes providing strategic input for marketing and brand plans, as well as executing medical marketing programs and clinical initiatives to enhance access to medicines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively support the development and promotion of the allocated portfolio, providing strategic inputs and support towards marketing and medical development plans.
- Create and review promotional, training, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) materials in compliance with industry codes and medical correctness.
- Facilitate and conduct customized promotional and educational interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), including customer launch meetings and advisory boards.
- Plan research projects and develop, review, and approve protocol synopses and supporting documents as needed at Alkem Laboratories.
- Provide timely, accurate, and balanced medical information to internal sales staff and external healthcare professionals (HCPs) in adherence to relevant SOPs.
- Impart medical training to new sales staff and provide ongoing refresher training for existing staff in this Corporate Medical Advisor Job in Mumbai.
- Support New Product Evaluation (NPE) and Business Development colleagues with medical evaluations and recommendations on new commercial opportunities.
- Assist the regulatory team by writing, revising, and reviewing labeling documents for products as per relevant SOPs.
- Support pharmacovigilance activities by documenting and reporting adverse events in a timely manner.
Eligibility Criteria for the Corporate Medical Advisor Job:
- Qualification: MBBS & MD in Pharmacology (Mandatory)
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in medico marketing within the pharmaceutical industry.
