Job Description:
The Global HEOR Value Writing Senior Associate plays a critical role in supporting Amgen’s global market access strategy through high-quality Health Technology Assessment (HTA) deliverables. This role collaborates closely with the team lead and Global HEOR Product Leads to ensure alignment with product strategy. The Value Writing Senior Associate develops Global Value Dossiers (GVDs), US AMCP dossiers, EU JCA dossiers, early HTA briefing books, reports, and scientific publications ensuring content is scientifically rigorous and resonates with HTA and payer audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update Global Value Dossiers (GVDs).
- Prepare US AMCP dossiers and EU Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) dossiers.
- Create early HTA briefing books and evidence summaries.
- Write scientifically accurate content using clinical, economic, and real-world evidence.
- Conduct systematic literature reviews (SLRs) and targeted literature reviews (TLRs).
- Support scientific publications, including abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
- Collaborate with Global HEOR Product Leads and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and publication guidelines.
- Review and quality-check scientific documents.
- Monitor evolving HTA requirements and global payer trends.
- Assist in developing onboarding materials and knowledge-sharing resources.
- Apply AI tools to improve scientific writing efficiency and workflow.
Eligibility Criteria for this Senior Associate Job:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medicine or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience for Master’s degree holders.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience for Bachelor’s degree holders.
- Experience in HEOR, medical writing, regulatory writing, or market access.
- Experience preparing Global Value Dossiers (GVDs) or AMCP dossiers.
- Knowledge of systematic literature reviews and evidence synthesis.
- Familiarity with HTA processes and payer evidence requirements.
Required Skills for this Senior Associate Job:
- Excellent English oral and written communication, with the ability to tailor content to different stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with reference management software (e.g., EndNote).
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with HTA processes, payer evidence requirements, and global reimbursement landscapes.
- Knowledge of Good Publication Practice and publication submission processes.
- Innovative use of artificial intelligence to boost efficiency.
