Key Responsibilities:
- Perform medical triage of incoming ICSRs within defined timelines.
- Assess seriousness, expectedness, and causality of adverse events.
- Determine expedited and non-expedited reporting requirements.
- Review case completeness and recommend follow-up actions.
- Assign cases through Argus Safety workflows.
- Escalate medically complex cases when necessary.
- Prepare structured medical summaries for serious safety cases.
- Ensure compliance with ICH guidelines, SOPs, and global pharmacovigilance regulations.
- Maintain inspection-ready documentation and quality standards.
- Support operational excellence through AI-enabled process improvements.
Eligibility Criteria for the Senior Medical Officer role:

Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:
- MBBS
- MD
- PharmD
- BDS
- MDS
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of industry experience.
- At least 5+ years in pharmacovigilance case processing.
- Hands-on experience with Argus Safety and ICSR management.
Required Skills for the Senior Medical Officer role:
- Strong knowledge of ICH E2A, E2B, and E2D guidelines.
- Experience with FDA, EMA, and global pharmacovigilance regulations.
- Expertise in ICSR processing and medical review.
- Proficiency in Argus Safety.
- Knowledge of MedDRA coding.
