Job Description:

The Resident Medical Officer Job involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the well-being of patients. The position requires the officer to manage patient care effectively during morning, evening, and night shifts. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Morning Duty:

    • Taking over from night residents and assessing the condition of patients.
    • Managing acute events and new admissions.
    • Preparing patients for surgery and coordinating with consultants.
    • Completing discharge summaries and conducting rounds with consultants.
  • Evening Duty:

    • Handling all admissions, surgeries, and acute events from the morning shift.
    • Visiting new patients and ensuring proper documentation.
    • Completing paperwork and managing emergencies.
  • Night Duty:

    • Continuing care from the evening shift and recording any new events.
    • Managing emergencies and pre-planned discharges.
    • Providing updates to consultants on patient conditions.

Additionally, the officer is expected to maintain confidentiality, participate in quality assurance activities, and adhere to the specified dress code with an ID card.

Eligibility Criteria for the Resident Medical Officer Job:

  • MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
  • 0-7 years of relevant work experience.
