Job Description:

This full-time on-site role for a Medical Gastroenterologist is based at PACE Hospitals in Hitech City. The role involves providing outpatient and inpatient care for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders, including clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based management. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in case discussions and clinical meetings. The Medical Gastroenterologist is expected to contribute to quality improvement initiatives, adhere to clinical protocols and patient safety standards, and maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Participation in teaching activities, clinical research, and community health programs may also be part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient care for gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

Eligibility Criteria for the Gastroenterologist Jobs:

  • Strong foundation in Medicine and Gastroenterology, with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Proficiency in Endoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Clinical expertise or focused training in Hepatology for the management of liver diseases.
  • Recognised medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate specialisation (MD/DNB) in Internal Medicine and DM/DNB in Gastroenterology or equivalent.
  • Valid medical registration/license, with compliance with relevant regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, with strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
  • Experience in transplant-related gastroenterology or hepatology, and familiarity with tertiary care hospital settings is an advantage.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, teaching, and participation in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives.
