Job Description:
The Deputy General Manager – Medical Affairs Lead is responsible for leading the Medical Affairs team in the therapy area of Respiratory & Critical Care. This role involves providing strategic and scientific leadership, overseeing Medical Affairs activities, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. The Medical Affairs Lead will inspire the team to achieve excellence and promote a culture of innovation and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides scientific leadership and direction for key Medical Affairs activities, including launch excellence and medical education programs.
- Identifies clinical needs and leads the development of medical communications to advance understanding of Glenmark’s products.
- Supports evaluation of new products and therapy landscaping with medical expertise.
- Collaborates with the commercial team on target product profiles and post-marketing initiatives.
- Develops integrated real-world evidence generation plans for marketed products.
- Maintains partnerships with stakeholders and key external experts in the therapy area.
- Plans publication and presentation of data in national and international conferences.
- Ensures compliance with Glenmark standards in all Medical and commercial activities.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Affairs Job:
- Medical qualification (MBBS with MD in Pharmacology or a related specialty) with approximately 7-8 years of experience in the Medical Affairs function within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in Respiratory therapy is preferred, along with a proven track record of supporting and managing key product launches in the Indian market.
