Job Description:
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Oncology role at Takeda serves as a scientific interface between the company and healthcare professionals (HCPs), Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and the wider scientific community. The position involves scientific exchange, oncology stakeholder engagement, medical insights, evidence-generation support, and implementation of Takeda’s medical strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute territory-specific scientific engagement plans aligned with oncology strategy and product-launch objectives.
- Establish and maintain trusted scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct high-quality, compliant, and non-promotional scientific exchanges with HCPs.
- Communicate the scientific and clinical value of Takeda’s products using patient-focused scientific storytelling.
- Gather structured insights from healthcare professionals and communicate relevant findings internally to support medical strategy.
- Represent Medical Affairs at scientific meetings, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.
- Contribute to evidence-generation initiatives and other Medical Affairs activities.
- Use CRM platforms, analytics, digital tools, and AI-powered solutions to improve and personalise scientific engagement.
Eligibility Criteria for this Medical Science Liaison Job:
- PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred
- Solid field medical or Medical Science Liaison experience, ideally within competitive speciality markets.
