Job Description:
The Senior Manager of Medical Affairs will lead the medical affairs strategy for key products, ensuring alignment with business goals. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, providing medical insights, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The candidate will also engage in medical education and training programs while driving research and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Medical Affairs Strategy: Plan, prepare, and execute medical affairs strategies for key products within assigned therapeutic areas, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Clinical Research to drive product strategy, communication strategy, and interactions with external stakeholders.
- Medical Insights: Provide insights and feedback to the Clinical Research teams for new and ongoing clinical trials, development programs, and medical evaluations in the Medical Affairs Jobs in Mumbai.
- Regulatory Input: Offer key medical input to Regulatory teams on product-related matters, ensuring alignment with medical and scientific goals.
- Research & Development Input: Offer key medical input on clinical relevance, guidelines and strength of evidence, strategic directions towards developmental methodology, changing global therapy landscape, and public health perspectives of various R&D Projects.
- Clinical Research & Publication: Direct contribution to important CR Projects with critical medical input and drive publication of research work and other RWE projects.
- Medical Education: Lead and participate in various medical symposiums/events, including CME activities, “Key-Speaker-Training,” and expert meetings. Engage in medical education and digital education platforms for healthcare professionals (HCPs), driving physical-digital HCP ecosystems at Bharat Serums and Vaccines.
- Communication: Develop and present scientific communication, with a focus on safety-related topics and key product updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Training & Development: Lead the design and delivery of key products and disease area/therapy training programs for Sales and Marketing teams, including basic, advanced, and refresher training sessions.
- Product Development: Interact with external agencies, including market research and medical writing agencies, to provide input on product development, ensuring the clinical/medical perspective is reflected.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable internal and external policies, including product promotional codes, regulatory requirements, travel policies, and other guidelines.
- New Product Identification: Identify and recommend potential new products within key therapeutic areas, lead robust medical evaluations, and present findings to leadership, incorporating insights from external experts and clinical specialists.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Affairs Jobs:
- MD (preferred) or MBBS, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Required Skills for the Medical Affairs Jobs:
- Has worked in the Fertility/Women’s Health Division.
- Broad Medical Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and command diverse medical subjects, especially in areas like Infertility Management and Gynecology.
