Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for the position of Medical Science Liaison – Oncology, located in Delhi, India. The successful candidate will serve as the therapeutic area scientific expert, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to discuss treatment trends and clinical trial data, while gathering insights that support the medical strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary scientific contact for KOLs in the Oncology therapy area.
- Identify, map, and profile KOLs within the designated geography and therapy area.
- Engage with identified KOLs through medical affairs initiatives aligned with the overall franchise plan.
- Represent the therapeutic area in relevant cross-functional teams and initiatives.
- Gather customer insights and relay them to the franchise team.
- Process scientific information requests from Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
- Provide scientific support and training to the sales team regarding the latest developments in the field.
- Travel 70-80% of the time to interact with customers and stakeholders.
Qualifications Required for the Medical Science Liaison Job:
Medical graduate (MD/MBBS/BDS/MDS) or a Pharmaceutical university Degree (PharmD or PhD).
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
- Good understanding of the medical affairs function.
- Familiarity with local regulatory policies and industry codes of practice related to drug registration, pharmaceutical promotion, and clinical research.
