Job Description:
The Consultant in Critical Care Medicine will lead and manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setup. The role requires strong clinical expertise and the ability to provide evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage ICU operations and critically ill patients: with evidence-based care.
- Expertise in advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ventilatory management.
- Perform bedside bronchoscopy and ultrasound-guided procedures (POCUS).
- Independently perform invasive procedures: (arterial lines, central lines, dialysis catheters).
- Manage percutaneous tracheostomies.
- Oversee advanced life-support systems: CRRT, ECMO, IABP.
- Drive clinical governance, ICU protocols, and NABH compliance.
- Mentor and train junior doctors, residents, and ICU staff.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Consultant Job:
- MBBS with MD / DNB (General Medicine / Anesthesia).
- Super-specialization in Critical Care: DM/DrNB/IDCCM.
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience in critical care.
- Experience in tertiary care / high-volume ICU setups preferred.
