Job Description:
The Medical Superintendent will provide clinical leadership and oversee day-to-day medical operations at the new unit in Alwarpet. This position involves ensuring high standards of patient care, coordinating with various departments, and implementing clinical protocols to enhance service delivery. The role is pivotal in driving the hospital’s mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring that all clinical activities align with the hospital’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversee day-to-day medical operations.
- Ensure high standards of patient care, clinical governance, and patient safety.
- Coordinate with consultants, clinical departments, and hospital leadership.
- Drive implementation of clinical protocols, policies, and SOPs.
- Monitor clinical quality indicators, audits, and patient-care outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with NABH and applicable regulatory standards.
- Support accreditation, quality improvement, and risk-management initiatives.
- Manage clinical incidents, grievances, and medico-legal matters in coordination with relevant teams.
- Strengthen coordination between clinical, nursing, and support services.
Eligibility Criteria for this Medical Superintendent Job:
- MBBS with relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Strong experience in hospital clinical administration.
- Proven leadership experience in a multispecialty hospital.
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality, and patient safety.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- NABH experience preferred.
