Job Description:
To provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with urological conditions under the guidance of senior consultants, while supporting outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and procedural services. The Junior Consultant will be responsible for patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, follow-up, and assisting in urological procedures and surgeries.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients presenting with urological complaints in OPD, IPD, and emergency settings.
- Take detailed medical history and perform appropriate clinical examinations.
- Review laboratory investigations, imaging, and other diagnostic reports.
- Formulate preliminary diagnosis and treatment plans in consultation with senior consultants.
- Provide appropriate medical management and follow-up care.
- Monitor patients admitted under the department and identify any deterioration requiring immediate intervention.
- Maintain continuity of care from admission through discharge and follow-up.
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, risks, and expected outcomes.
Eligibility Criteria for this Junior Consultant Urology Job:
- MBBS with a recognized MD/MS/DNB in Urology / Genitourinary Surgery, as applicable.
- Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Relevant clinical experience in Urology.
- Candidates with experience in a tertiary-care or multispecialty hospital environment will be preferred.
