Senior Resident Job Description:
To provide anaesthesia services, perioperative care, and critical care support to patients while ensuring patient safety and quality clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anaesthesia services for elective and emergency surgical procedures under consultant supervision.
- Conduct pre-anaesthesia assessment and evaluate patients for surgical fitness.
- Monitor patients during anaesthesia and ensure safe recovery in the post-anaesthesia care unit.
- Manage airway emergencies and provide resuscitation when required.
- Assist in managing patients in ICU and other critical care areas, as per departmental requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation of anaesthesia records and patient treatment.
- Coordinate with surgeons, nursing staff, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Follow hospital protocols for infection control, patient safety, and clinical documentation.
- Participate in emergency duties, shifts, and departmental academic activities as required.
Eligibility Criteria for Senior Resident Job:
- Required Qualification: MBBS, Doctor of Medicine (MD)
