Job Description:
- For this Senior Resident Radiology job, interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, ultrasound, CT and MRI, as per the candidate’s training and departmental requirements.
- Perform ultrasound examinations and assist with CT-guided, ultrasound-guided and other image-guided procedures, where trained and authorized.
- Evaluate emergency radiology cases and communicate critical findings promptly to the treating clinicians.
- Supervise and guide junior residents, interns and medical students in radiology-related activities.
- Participate in departmental rounds, academic sessions, case discussions, seminars and teaching activities.
- Ensure appropriate patient preparation, radiation safety, infection control and contrast-media safety.
- Maintain accurate imaging records, reports and departmental documentation.
- Coordinate with clinicians, nursing staff, technicians and other departments to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
- Participate in quality assurance, audits, research and other academic activities as required.
- Comply with hospital policies, professional ethics and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis or an equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission or the relevant State Medical Council, as applicable.
- Eligibility in accordance with applicable institutional and regulatory requirements
