Job Description
Main Activities and Responsibilities
- Engagements with External Experts: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the relevant therapeutic area.
- Knowledge Acquisition: Proactively gather valuable medical insights and intelligence from external experts, scientific literature, and attendance at key medical and scientific conferences.
- Knowledge Translation: Effectively and compliantly communicate approved scientific information to a diverse range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and internal teams.
- Clinical Research: Facilitate the initiation and execution of investigator-initiated research (IIR) studies in alignment with Pfizer’s research priorities.
- Non-Promotional Scientific Information: Engage in proactive and reactive scientific exchange activities with healthcare professionals, responding to unsolicited medical inquiries with accurate and balanced information.

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and contribute positively within a dynamic team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced pharmaceutical setting.
Qualifications
- Health Science Bachelor’s Degree, Medical Degree, Pharmacy Degree, PhD degree, or Master’s level degree in health sciences required (recognized Medical qualification, e.g., MD, MBBS, or Pharmacist is required).
- The position is field-based with upwards of 75% required travel (car, train, and plane) to manage assigned geography.
- Ability to use field-based electronic or other communication tools for all aspects of the job is critical, as well as the ability to maintain excellent relationships with scientific experts and health care providers.
