Gynecologist Job Objective

To provide clinical support in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of women with gynecological and obstetric conditions under the guidance of senior consultants, ensuring high-quality and safe patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior gynecologists in conducting outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, deliveries, and surgeries.
  • Manage patients in the labor room, including normal and assisted deliveries.
  • Provide care for antenatal, postnatal, and gynecological patients.
  • Handle emergencies such as ectopic pregnancy, PPH, eclampsia, and other obstetric complications.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate medical records, case notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Support the team in pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols and infection control policies.
  • Participate in clinical audits, CME programs, and departmental meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

MBBS with MS / DNB / DGO in Obstetrics & Gynecology. 0–3 years of relevant clinical experience. Registration with State Medical Council / MCI is mandatory.
