Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Neonatologist located in Port Blair. The Neonatologist will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to newborns, managing neonatal intensive care units, and collaborating with pediatric and medical teams. Daily tasks will include diagnosing and treating conditions affecting newborns, performing medical procedures, monitoring patient progress, and consulting with families. The role also involves ensuring adherence to medical protocols and contributing to the advancement of neonatal care practices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Newborn Care and Neonatology
- Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) and Pediatrics
- A strong foundation in Medicine as it relates to neonatology
- Advanced diagnostic and procedural skills for neonatal care
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- M.D. or D.O. degree with a specialization in Neonatology
- Board certification in Neonatology or equivalent credentials
- Experience in a quaternary care center is a plus
