Medical Jobs At ClinChoice- Role:
The Medical Review Physician will be responsible for the medical review of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance (PV) regulations and Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP). The role involves assessing the seriousness, causality, expectedness, and quality of reported cases, and supporting safety monitoring across multiple therapeutic areas.
Medical Review Physician Jobs- Key Responsibilities
- Review serious and non-serious ICSRs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Evaluate seriousness, expectedness, causality, and narratives for medical soundness.
- Handle ICSRs from diverse sources including spontaneous, solicited, literature, clinical trials, and regulatory authorities.
- Support case triage and determine seriousness and relatedness for assigned products.
- Review adverse event coding using MedDRA and assess product labeling.
- Provide medical guidance to case processors and quality reviewers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned product portfolios and safety profiles.
- Participate in quality control initiatives and process improvement activities.
- Support training and mentoring of new team members in medical review and PV processes.
Medical Review Physician Jobs- Qualification:
- Education: MBBS/MD with 2–4 years of experience as a Medical Reviewer for ICSRs.
- Comprehensive understanding of ICH-GCP, GVP modules, and 21 CFR guidelines.
- Strong command over medical terminology, clinical reasoning, and therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Respiratory, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Rare Diseases.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and analytical skills.
