Medical Advisor Jobs At Bayer- Role:
The Medical Advisor will be responsible for providing medical and scientific support to Bayer’s Business Units, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Research, and Medical Information teams across designated therapeutic areas. The role involves ensuring alignment between scientific data and business strategy, reviewing promotional materials, facilitating medical training, and engaging with key healthcare professionals. Acting as the scientific voice of Bayer, the Medical Advisor will play a key role in driving evidence-based marketing, maintaining compliance, and strengthening relationships with thought leaders and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and compliant medical review of promotional materials and competitor activities.
- Support the development and execution of marketing strategies by translating medical data into actionable insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical experts, and internal teams.
- Deliver product and therapy area training to marketing, sales, and medical teams.
- Offer expert guidance in the development and implementation of clinical studies, including local investigator-initiated research.
- Ensure scientific accuracy and compliance with global and local regulatory frameworks.
- Represent Bayer at medical events, advisory boards, and symposia to strengthen scientific engagement.
- Collaborate with pharmacovigilance teams to ensure adherence to patient safety and reporting standards.
- Support integrated brand planning and provide strategic medical input into product development and life-cycle management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree (MBBS/MD) in Life Sciences preferred.
- Proven experience in Medical Affairs, with expertise in relevant therapeutic areas.
- Strong knowledge of clinical research, regulatory processes, and scientific communication.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and innovative mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with global medical compliance standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
