MBBS Jobs At Motherhood Hospital- Role:
The Junior Consultant– Obstetrics & Gynecology will be responsible for delivering specialized medical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including prenatal assessments, labor management, gynecological procedures, and patient counseling. The role demands close collaboration with senior consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each patient receives comprehensive and personalized care. The Junior Consultant will also participate in clinical audits, contribute to continuous medical education, and uphold the hospital’s commitment to clinical safety and ethical medical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough gynecological and obstetric evaluations for patients
- Manage prenatal and postnatal care, including labor supervision and safe delivery practices
- Assist in performing minor and major gynecological surgeries under supervision
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with senior consultants
- Provide empathetic patient counseling and education on reproductive health
- Ensure documentation accuracy and maintain compliance with hospital protocols and KMC regulations
- Participate in ongoing training, case discussions, and departmental activities
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: MBBS with MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology (recognized institution)
- License: Valid registration with the Karnataka Medical Council (KMC)
- Experience: 0–3 years of relevant experience in OBG or women’s health practice
- Proficiency in diagnostics, prenatal care, and surgical assistance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient engagement
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
