PGIMER Careersโ€”About the Program/Project

The position is part of the ICMR-funded initiative โ€œCentre for Advanced Research in Hypertensive Disorders in Pregnancy,โ€ led by Dr. Seema Chopra, Professor, Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The project focuses on improving diagnosis, monitoring, echocardiographic assessment, and outcome analysis for hypertensive disorders during pregnancy. The selected candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary investigators, contribute to data-driven research, and support field activities, patient follow-up, and coordination tasks essential to the project.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree/Diploma in Science (Medical) / Technology
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in health research or a research project

Desirable

  • Strong command of English, Hindi, and Punjabi
  • Prior experience in data collection, patient interaction, and follow-up
  • Knowledge of research methodology and analysis
  • Hands-on experience with qualitative & quantitative data tools
  • Skills in documentation, data entry, cleaning, and transcription
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Experience in training programs or research methods

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise day-to-day site activities
  • Support recruitment, consent, and interviewing of volunteer patients
  • Conduct and monitor echocardiography procedures
  • Manage participant follow-up visits and scheduling
  • Handle data entry, management, and quality checks
  • Assist in research analysis and documentation
  • Liaise with investigators and attend project coordination meetings
  • Support outcome assessments and ensure smooth project execution
  • Travel for field/site visits as required (TA/DA as per ICMR norms)

Important Notes

  • The candidate must be willing to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the PI.
  • No claim to any permanent post at PGIMER/ICMR.
  • Engagement may be extended/curtailed depending on project requirements.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/written test.
  • No TA/DA for attending the interview.
  • Communication with shortlisted candidates will be via email only.
