This Optometrist Job involves dispensing accurate prescriptions and fitting spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical aids. The role requires performing refraction, diagnosis, and customer consultation to ensure patients receive the best eye-care guidance. Candidates applying will handle lens suggestions, frame styling, low-vision aids, and repair assistance. Additional responsibilities include inventory handling, quality assurance, and supporting opticians with complex cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense accurate prescriptions and fit spectacles, contact lenses, and optical aids
- Perform refraction and diagnosis based on customer needs
- Offer patient consultation on lens types, frames, styling, and contact lens care
- Guide customers on low-vision aids and assist with spectacle adjustments and repairs
- Manage inventory of lenses and optical products
- Submit regular sales, stock, and customer feedback reports
- Ensure high-quality standards in eye measurements and auditing of dispensing techniques
- Act as the escalation point for advanced optical consultations
- Maintain timely delivery and prompt after-sales service
- Ensure backend processes run smoothly and escalate issues when needed
