Job Description:
The Senior Manager – Medical Services will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health and safety of all employees at Adani Power’s facility. This position involves developing comprehensive Occupational Health Care Plans that cater to the diverse needs of the workforce. The manager will be responsible for the seamless operation of the plant’s medical facilities, ensuring they are equipped to handle any medical emergencies. Regular medical surveillance will be conducted to monitor the health of employees and identify any occupational hazards. The role also includes preparing detailed reports on health activities and compliance with health regulations, which will be presented to the management for review. Additionally, the manager will coordinate wellness programs aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among employees, contract workers, and their families. This includes managing chronic conditions and addressing occupational health issues. The role requires adherence to various guidelines such as IMS, AWMS, DISHA, and CHETNA within the department. By ensuring compliance with these standards, the Senior Manager will contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Occupational Health Care Plans tailored to the specific needs of the employees.
- Conduct medical surveillance of employees continually to monitor health and occupational hazards.
- Manage and operate the plant’s medical facilities, ensuring they are equipped and maintained to provide necessary medical services.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing necessary treatment and coordinating with external medical services as required.
- Prepare and submit reports on medical activities, health statistics, and compliance status to management.
- Create and execute a wellness awareness plan for employees, contract workers, and their families.
- Monitor and manage chronic conditions and occupational health issues among employees.
- Ensure adherence to IMS, AWMS, DISHA and CHETNA guidelines within the department.
Eligibility Criteria for this Adani Occupational Health Job:
- Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognised medical institution, with CIH/AFIH/DIH Certification (Preferred).
- Work Experience: 10+ years of experience in occupational health management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Preferred Industry: Experience in the power generation industry or similar heavy industries is advantageous.
