AIIMS Bhubaneswar Research University to Launch Bio-Incubation Centre: A Leap Toward AI-Powered Healthcare Innovation

In a smart step towards changing healthcare through technology, AIIMS Bhubaneswar has announced its plan to start a new bio-incubation centre to encourage new ideas of medical technology, disease detection, and new tools for healthcare.

Inspiring Ideas from Concept to the Market

The centre will be a launch place for young innovators and researchers, says the executive director. He says that he wants to create a space where ideas can grow from the lab to the market level.

This centre will offer support to young innovators at every stage of their project, ie, from developing the concept and bringing it to the market.ย 

The Dean of the Institute mentioned that their goal is to strengthen the start-ups and bring meaningful, quality products to the market that can make a difference in the healthcare industry.

Raising Innovation and Partnership

AIIMS Bhubaneswar announced it during the 3rd Annual Research Day and the 2nd Regional Research Conclave 2025.

As part of its increasing research environment, the institute exhibited 33 start-up ideas and medical models, showing the development of its innovative environment.

ย AIIMS Bhubaneswar is also partnering with reputed national and international institutions, including Western Sydney University, Australia to make the network stronger. This partnership goal is to introduce integrated PhD programmes for young researchers waiting to know the application of medicine, life sciences, and technology together.

The instituteโ€™s newly launched Central Research and Skill Laboratory is already allowing much research, training, and product development.
