Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide necessary support to Doctors, Nursing Staff, and Operators in equipment usage across all Centers.
- Direct maintenance and repair of medical equipment, ensuring safe device usage.
- Offer immediate assistance during equipment breakdowns and regular maintenance.
- Manage preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failures.
- Ensure equipment is always in proper working condition through scheduled maintenance programs.
- Implement safety measures such as calibration and safety checks for patient and employee well-being.
- Conduct training for equipment users and operators.
- Coordinate with agencies for spares and service support.
- Establish technical protocols and management functions for biomedical equipment.
- Advise administration on equipment-related matters.
- Set departmental goals and objectives aligned with the company’s mission.
- Prepare and monitor departmental budget.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for the function.
- Monitor and improve departmental programs through new technology and procedures.
- Consult with HR Department on organizational and staffing matters.
- Provide continuous support for Biomedical Engineering needs.
- Evaluate new technology for patient care and medical equipment acquisition.
- Represent Biomedical Engineering on committees and maintain department records.
- Ensure safety and performance standards are met in all Centers.
- Perform other related duties as required.
