The Manager of Medical Information plays a critical role within the Medical Affairs team. The role involves overseeing unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare providers (HCPs) and other stakeholders while contributing to scientific reports and medical communication efforts. Medical Affairs Job – Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and technical product knowledge for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and timely responses to unsolicited medical information requests from HCPs, payers, and managed care organizations.
- Support the MI team and guide the Medical Information Call Center with escalated cases and ongoing coaching.
- Maintain a comprehensive product knowledge database, including SRLs and FAQ documents.
- Analyze reports and metrics to identify trends, insights, and knowledge gaps.
- Partner with Clinical Development, Commercial, Market Access, Legal, and Regulatory teams.
- Review new data to keep medical information resources updated.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs on disease-state presentations and knowledge enhancement.
- Support PMRC and SRC to ensure medical information accuracy and scientific balance.
- Assist with coordinating, escalating, and reviewing Medical Affairs–related legal contracts.
- Perform additional responsibilities aligned with Medical Information and broader medical affairs functions.
