Qualifications Required for the Civilian Medical Officer Job:

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council/NMC Act, 1956.
    • Completion of Compulsory rotating internship.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Post Graduate medical qualification in any discipline.
  • Duties: Medical Officers shall provide comprehensive healthcare to dependent clientele and arrange for hospitalization/specialist treatment when necessary.
