Job Description
The Clinical Data Specialist Job at Philips involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to adapt and implement technical solutions for data management. Qualifications
Minimum Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree / Vocational Education in Medical.
Minimum Required Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience required with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in Data Management in the Pharma industry or the Medtech Industry.
Minimum Required Certification: CCDM or a relevant certification will be an advantage.
Preferred Experience: 5–8 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to adapt and implement technical solutions for data management, executing the technical setup of clinical programming and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
- Ensures adherence to data management standards and procedures by confirming compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational protocols.
- Develops and maintains documentation for data management processes and procedures, drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Ensures efficient execution of data processing tasks and provides inputs to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Supports preparation and presentation of clinical data for analysis and reporting, producing summaries, tables, and graphs as required.
- Troubleshot data-related issues and escalated technical challenges to ensure timely resolution.
- Provides guidance to colleagues on data management tasks, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Collaborates with biostatistics and statistical programming teams to facilitate data transfer and integration processes.
- Evaluates data quality and completeness to assess suitability for analysis and reporting purposes.
