Key Responsibilities:
Scientific Leadership & Strategy

- Lead biomarker and diagnostics strategy across the drug development pipeline
- Provide pathology expertise and guide precision medicine initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional global teams for assay development
Laboratory Management

- Establish and manage a GCLP-compliant clinical testing laboratory
- Oversee immunohistochemistry, genomics (NGS/qPCR), and immunoassay workflows
- Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and data integrity
Technical & Research Oversight

- Design and validate biomarker assays with QC/QA monitoring
- Collaborate on digital pathology and AI-based imaging solutions
- Interpret tissue-based assays and pathology data
Operations & Performance

- Manage turnaround time, throughput, and lab capacity planning
- Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery processes
- Monitor compliance, audits, and corrective action plans
People & Culture

- Train, mentor, and develop laboratory personnel
- Drive performance, safety practices, and continuous improvement
Educational Requirements for this Job:
Basic Qualifications
- MD or DVM degree (Pathology)
- 12+ years of relevant experience in academic, clinical, or industry pathology
- Experience working in GCLP laboratories
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD (optional but advantageous)
- Familiarity with ISO 15189, 21 CFR Part 11 / Annex 11
- Strong molecular pathology and research publication track record
- Expertise in tissue-based analysis and experimental pathology
Skills Required:
