Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and promote employee wellbeing
- Support occupational health surveillance programs at the site
- Conduct disease management and health awareness programs
- Maintain employee medical records as per corporate and regulatory guidelines
- Handle workers’ compensation and statutory medical documentation
- Conduct ergonomic risk assessments and workplace safety evaluations
- Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities
- Implement industrial hygiene and occupational health programs
- Manage work-related injury and illness cases
- Deliver BLS and ACLS training sessions for employees
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve workplace safety objectives
- Ensure compliance with Factory Act and occupational health regulations
Educational Requirements for this Factory Medical Officer Job:
- MBBS degree required
- AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) certification mandatory
- Registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council is required
- Certification in Occupational Health is preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred
- Intermediate or higher English language fluency preferred
