Key Responsibilities:

Provide routine and emergency medical cover during duty hours in collaboration with other specialties.

Perform procedures including central line insertion, IV channelization, intubation, and operate instruments like ventilators.

Adhere to clinical safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols (gloves, aprons, hand hygiene, etc.).

Monitor patients as required and identify complex health issues, reporting immediately to the concerned doctor.

Supervise daily clinical management of patients under guidance from consultants.

Prescribe pain management medications as needed.

Maintain accurate treatment sheets with diagnosis in capital letters, dated, named, and signed.

Assist consultants during rounds and take independent rounds with patient follow-ups.

Prepare discharge summaries and ensure proper documentation.

Participate in departmental on-call and duty rota as required.

Actively contribute to Quality Improvement Initiatives and hospital protocols.

Ensure effective communication with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare workers.
Qualifications & Experience:

MBBS or MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine.

0–5 years of clinical experience in hospital or emergency care settings.
