Job Title: Global Medical Advisor

About the Job:
The Global Medical Advisor will be a key member of the global medical affairs obesity team, based in GBS Bangalore. This role involves managing allocated activities within the obesity therapy area and ensuring the timely, accurate, and credible dissemination of scientific and medical knowledge. You will serve as a global specialist on assigned products/projects, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-authorization of medico-marketing activities, including the development of promotional materials and API updates.
- Providing medical and scientific support to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
- Collaborating with internal teams across Global Development, Regulatory, Safety, Marketing, Corporate Communication, and affiliates.
- Cascading global medical affairs and publication strategies to supported countries, aligned with brand strategies.
- Building and maintaining relationships with KOLs to optimize product use and value through protocol, clinical data, and strategic approach discussions.
Qualifications:
- A medical doctor with M.B.B.S and MD.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in medical affairs/clinical (preferred), and/or pharmaceutical development/business.
- Experience in clinical medicine, clinical research, and drug development.
- Understanding of pharma business, pharma marketing practices, and pharma law and guidance.
- Preferably, authored personal publications, held international medical presentations, and wrote synopses and protocols.
- Strong professionalism, dedication, and willingness to travel.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.

The Global Medical Advisor will provide expert medical and scientific support within the obesity therapy area. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical research and pharmaceutical development, as well as the ability to communicate complex medical information effectively. The advisor will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including KOLs, HCPs, and cross-functional teams, to ensure the successful implementation of medical strategies.
