Job Description
PGIMER, Chandigarh invites applications for the govt doctor fellowship program titled Fellowship in Genetic Diagnostics. This initiative aims to expand National Inherited Disorders Administration Kendras (NIDAN Kendras) to provide comprehensive clinical care including diagnosis, management, counseling, and prenatal testing at Government Hospitals and Medical Colleges.
This fellowship is ideal for candidates pursuing md job or dnb job roles who want to gain expertise in genetics and genomics. The program offers hands-on training in cytogenetic and molecular genetic techniques along with their applications in patient care. The fellowship duration is 6 months, scheduled from May 2026 to October 2026, starting on 01 May 2026.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) in relevant fields such as Pediatrics, Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Laboratory Hematology, Laboratory Medicine, Anatomy, Physiology, Dermatology, Hematology, Radiotherapy, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, or other clinical/paraclinical specialties
- Holding a regular position in a Government Medical College or Hospital
