Key Responsibilities:
Project Lead (Medical)
- Provide overall scientific and clinical oversight for project implementation.
- Lead engagement with the Central TB Division and State TB Officers.
- Supervise the development and finalization of SOPs, monitoring formats, and field tools.
- Ensure compliance with NTEP requirements, ethical standards, and data-quality procedures.
- Review project implementation through virtual meetings and field visits.
- Lead development of the operational framework for scaling up the TB-Free Workplace model.
- Coordinate procurement, institutional approvals, and regulatory requirements with ICMR-NIOH administration.
Project Manager
- Act as the central operational coordinator at ICMR-NIOH.
- Support project planning, implementation, monitoring, coordination, and reporting.
- Coordinate field teams across participating states.
- Manage logistics, procurement, technology requirements, and operational arrangements.
- Monitor timelines, deliverables, and KPIs.
- Prepare periodic progress reports.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings, training, orientation, and project reviews.
- Maintain project documentation and communications.
Project Assistant
- Provide administrative support to the Project Lead and Project Manager.
- Coordinate inventory, packing, dispatch, and tracking of project materials.
- Maintain approvals, agreements, meeting records, financial documents, and other project records.
- Assist with study tools and IEC material preparation.
- Conduct data entry, verification, and quality checks.
- Assist in organising meetings and preparing minutes, notes, and correspondence.
Field Coordinator
- Lead state-level field implementation across participating workplace sites.
- Coordinate with state/district TB authorities, industry stakeholders, and workplace management.
- Facilitate workplace engagement and formation of Workplace TB-Free Committees.
- Supervise TB screening, diagnostic activities, specimen transportation, and service linkage.
- Facilitate training and certification of workplace Peer Educators.
- Oversee case identification, follow-up, Nikshay registration, and linkage with NTEP services.
- Coordinate airborne infection-control assessments.
- Supervise field staff and project data reporting.
- Coordinate verification and certification-related activities.
Field Assistant
- Conduct worker enumeration, enrolment, screening, and follow-up.
- Facilitate participant mobilization, consent, questionnaires, and health assessments.
- Support worker sensitization and health-education activities.
- Assist with screening camps, sputum collection, X-ray services, and diagnostic coordination.
- Support follow-up of presumptive and confirmed TB cases.
- Coordinate with workplace representatives and Peer Educators.
- Conduct digital data collection, verification, and record maintenance.
- Support field logistics.
Field Technician
- Organize logistics for workplace TB screening and diagnostic activities.
- Support AI-enabled Hand-held Chest X-Ray (HHX) screening.
- Facilitate sputum specimen collection, handling, storage, and transportation according to biosafety requirements in Government Research Jobs.
- Transport samples using cold boxes to NTEP diagnostic facilities such as DMC, CBNAAT, and TrueNat laboratories.
- Coordinate testing and tracking of diagnostic results.
- Support linkage of presumptive and confirmed cases with Nikshay.
- Assist with latent TB infection testing using Cy-TB skin tests or IGRA, where applicable.
- Maintain inventories, diagnostic records, monitoring registers, and project documentation.
- Support project MIS data entry and verification.
- Assist with Peer Educator training and field monitoring.
