Junior Research Fellowship Essential Qualifications

  • B.S. 4-year program/MBBS or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test.
  •  MBBS or BDS, with 1-year internship or equivalent OR Doctorate (PhD/MD/MS/MDS) or equivalent degree OR having 3 years of research, teaching, and design and development.

Job Description

The candidate should be able to perform collection and processing of blood and urine samples for liquid biopsy analysis; key molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR/qPCR/RT-PCR, gel electrophoresis, ELISA, western blotting; handle cell culture for prostate cancer cell lines, hands-on experience with small animal handling and in vivo procedures (tumor implantation, drug administration), perform basic data analysis and interpretation of biomarker results, use statistical and bioinformatics tools (R/Python/GraphPad) for data visualization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform collection and processing of blood and urine samples for liquid biopsy analysis.
  • Conduct key molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR/qPCR/RT-PCR, gel electrophoresis, ELISA, and western blotting.
  • Handle cell culture for prostate cancer cell lines.
  • Carry out small animal handling and in vivo procedures, including tumor implantation and drug administration.
