Job Description: We are seeking an experienced medical advisor to contribute to the medical strategy of our therapeutic areas (TA). This role involves executing medical affairs plans, engaging key thought leaders, and supporting the sales and marketing teams with scientific insights.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as a scientific expert within the cross-functional franchise team.
- Manage various medical activities, including research, publications, medical education, and patient support programs.
- Engage with key thought leaders in alignment with the strategic plan.
- Oversee the execution of the strategic medical affairs plan through regional initiatives.
- Provide scientific training to sales and marketing teams and discuss the latest medical developments with specialists.
Qualifications
- Education: MBBS with MD in Pharmacology/Medicine or a postgraduate qualification in a medical discipline.
- Experience: 2-4 years in a pharmaceutical or research company as a Medical Advisor.
Skills & Attributes
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, and medical writing.
- Knowledge of Indian healthcare regulations (MCI code of ethics, UCPMP, Drugs & Cosmetics Act).
- Strong academic background with in-depth therapeutic area knowledge.
- Ability to interpret clinical research and medical data.
