Job Description:
The Team Lead in Medical Affairs will play a crucial role by taking managerial responsibility and ensuring the scientific, technical, and ethical soundness of all policies and endeavours within the organisation. This position requires active contribution to the business through strategic and tactical inputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tactical and strategic inputs, and business/technical expertise to Product Management for the ethical promotion of assigned products.
- Oversee the design and execution of medical-marketing programs and facilitate interactions with healthcare professionals.
- Develop, review, and approve protocol documents and supporting materials for various clinical projects in the Medical Affairs Job in Mumbai.
- Provide timely, accurate, and balanced medical information to internal and external customers.
- Train the Sales Force on basic sciences/assigned products and conduct pre-launch and launch training for new products.
- Develop and share expertise in identified medical and/or scientific therapeutic areas.
- Act as the Medical Affairs contact for Customer Relationship Management and operational liaison across various functional domains at Dr Reddy’s Laboratories.
- Support the cluster Head Medical Affairs in budgeting, provisioning, and expense control.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Affairs Job:
- Educational Qualification: Post-graduate degree in Pharmacology or other Medical specialty/Graduate degree in Medicine.
- Minimum Work Experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience in medical affairs, including at least 2-3 years in a people management role.
Required Skills for the Medical Affairs Job:
- Basic knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, drug discovery, research & development, commercialisation, promotion, and applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines.
- Expertise in clinical trial design and methodology, understanding of interfaces, and conduct.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including medical writing and presentation skills.
- Interpersonal skills for internal and external networking, with the ability to impact and influence.
