Job Description:
The Consultant (Breast Services) role requires candidates to possess a strong background in surgical oncology. Applicants must hold an M.Ch / D.N.B. (Surgical Oncology) or M.Ch / D.N.B. (Endocrine Surgery) or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognised by the National Medical Commission. Alternatively, candidates with an M.S. / D.N.B. (General Surgery) or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognised by the National Medical Commission are also eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation in breast oncology.
- Conduct surgical procedures related to breast cancer treatment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in research activities and clinical trials.
- Mentor and train junior staff and residents.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Engage in continuous professional development and education.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and case discussions.
Eligibility Criteria for this Medical Consultant Job:
- For M.Ch / D.N.B. (Surgical Oncology) or M.Ch / D.N.B. (Endocrine Surgery): 1 year experience in Breast Oncology.
- For M.S. / D.N.B. (General Surgery): 3 years post M.S. / D.N.B. experience in Surgical / Breast Oncology.
- Exclusive experience in breast cancer surgery for 1 year is desirable.
- Age limit: Up to 45 years (as on advertisement date).
Salary:
- Consolidated Salary: Rs. 1,28,000/- to Rs. 1,52,000/- p.m. (depending upon work experience)
- Duration: Initially for the period of six months (extendable as per the requirement of the Centre).
