Job Description:

The National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) is a technical support institution under the National Health Mission, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. NHSRC works with the Ministry and State health departments to strengthen healthcare systems and improve public health delivery. Its Quality and Patient Safety initiatives focus on improving healthcare standards and certification across public health facilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support national-level assessments from application receipt to result declaration.
  • Manage data for fact sheets and national-level reviews.
  • Support implementation of Quality Certification in healthcare IT.
  • Ensure timely completion of certification activities.
  • Coordinate final reports and correspondence with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
  • Liaise with officials, assessors and Quality experts.
  • Prepare certification guidelines and resource materials.
  • Monitor ongoing national-level assessments.
  • Undertake other responsibilities assigned by the organization.

Eligibility Criteria for this Medical Consulting Job:

  • Candidates applying for these medical consulting jobs must possess one of the following:

    • MBBS
    • BDS
    • BAMS
    • BHMS

  • A postgraduate qualification in Hospital Management or Public Health is also required.

    Experience

    • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
    • At least 1 year of experience in NQAS implementation at district, state or national level.
