Are you a medical professional with experience in metabolic health and GLP-1 medications? About the Job
We’re looking for a Medical Doctor with experience in GLP-1 medications to join Healthify’s growing virtual care team. You’ll work directly with clients undergoing obesity and metabolic treatment and play a key role in clinical oversight, protocol development, and collaborative wellness management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct medical assessments via video consults to evaluate GLP-1 eligibility
- Prescribe medications such as Semaglutide or Tirzepatide as per protocol
- Monitor clinical outcomes, side effects, and lab values (e.g., HbA1c, lipids, thyroid)
- Collaborate with nutrition and fitness coaches to support holistic client care
- Provide escalation support for adverse events or special cases
- Help develop and refine internal SOPs and prescribing protocols
- Maintain accurate digital records and documentation
Qualifications
- MBBS required
- MD (Internal Medicine) / Endocrinology preferred
- 2+ years experience in diabetes, obesity, or metabolic care
- Prior experience with GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.)
- Confident with telemedicine and using EMRs or digital tools
- Strong communication and client engagement skills
- Compassionate, responsible, and focused on safety and outcomes
